Rancho San Jose

WOW!  Look at that building.  Three days is all it took to get that cabin up and roofed.  We had some help, though, because the walls were built by the teenagers at the National Missionary Convention last November.  Then West Towne Christian Church from Knoxville, TN was here to help us put the building up - and that's just what they did!  This is the first of four cabins that will be built this summer on the camp property we are calling Rancho San Jose.  Each cabin will sleep forty people.  Presently, the First Christian Church from Scottsburg, Indiana is here and working on getting the second cabin built.  Praise the Lord for willing people to give of themselves in such a way. 

The messages!  When the walls arrived from Cincinnati, it was interesting to note that in several places on the flat of the wall were "messages."  Some were scriptures, some were personal comments but all were words of encouragement!  Evidently, when the teenagers at the National Missionary Convention in Cincinnati were building the walls, they wrote messages to the teens or groups of people that would later be putting up the walls in Mexico and to those who would at some time live within the walls for camp.     We can't imagine how many different people will read one or more of those message before the exterior walls are covered with some type of siding to protect from the elements.  We do know,  it is quite possible, that those who in the future who  will  use the cabins from these walls, will never see all the words of encouragement sent their way.  But we are quite certain that along with those messages, prayers went up to our Heavenly Father, by those building the walls,  for those who's lives would be touched for Christ.   And so...as one of  the messages on the walls of Cabin 1 says, "Glory to God!"
