Rio Bravo Christian Ministries, Inc., began in January of 2001. Using I Thessalonians 5:11 as our theme for service, "Therefore, encourage and build each other up" , we exist to "Assist the Church of Christ/Christian Church along the Rio Grande" with: New Church Planting, National Evangelist Support, Building Assistance, Teaching and Training, Short-Term Mission Opportunities and Physical Need Disbursements.
We are a recognized 501 (c) 3 organization in the United States and a recognized Civil Association in Mexico. All contributions to Rio Bravo Christian Ministries are tax deductible.

Statement of Beliefs
We believe that Jesus is the Christ, the only begotten Son of the Living God. (John 20:31)

...Church Planting/Building Assistance
We assist the Church of Christ/Christian Church in the Piedras Negras, Mexico area with their
various building needs by matching up short-term msision teams from the U.S. with the local
Mexican church.
...National Evangelist Support
We provide supplemental financial support to the national evangelist working at the local
church in Meixoc. This support will be for a limited time period.
...Training Seminars Teaching and training seminars, in cooperation with the local Mexican church, will be
offered for the purpose of maturing people in their faith and walk with Christ.
...Teaching Our opportunities for teaching include the Pan de Vida minsitry, Camp and Resource ministry
as well as individualized and group bible studies.
...Meeting Physical Needs As opportunity and supplies become available, we offer food, vitamins, clothing, blankets,
school supplies, hygiene products, and over-the-counter medical supplies.
...Short-Term Mission Opportunities These are available for youth, adults and families.
